When the option is enabled, any emails captured by the application will be subjected to the rules defined in the Inbound Email Rules module. These rules serve as a powerful automation mechanism, allowing users to define specific actions and behaviors based on incoming emails' content, sender, or other attributes.
On the other hand, if this setting is disabled, the captured emails will bypass the Inbound Email Rules entirely, and their processing will follow a default or alternate pathway set by the application's configuration. This may be useful when specific email processing rules are not required or users prefer to handle captured emails manually.
- Navigate to Setup → Email Settings → Inbound Email Settings
Using the gear icon next to the name of the Email settings, open the configuration window selecting the Quick Modify option.
Under the Processing Settings section, select to enable (Yes) the email processing or the debugging.
