How To Set Up In-Line Editing in MDM Searches

Developers can enable the In Line edit on the Search Form.

Steps

1. Create a new Form as In-Line Type (available only for root objects). In our example, we create a new Form for the Car Quotes Case Type (Business Object).
   

   

2. Add the required fields to the new form.
   

   

3. On the Search Builder, configure the Set Create/Update Forms to use the new InLine Form.
   

   

4. In our example, we defined the Car Quotes InLine form.
   

   

5. Save the Search Form.
6. Make the Search Form show in Menu.
   

   

7. Check the Search in runtime.
