A detail page is a specific view that provides detailed information about a particular item: Case, Party, or Task. It often includes a variety of data and controls related to that item, allowing users to view and interact with its details.
The content and layout of a detail page can vary depending on the specific object.
Steps
On the top right, navigate to → <<your solution>>
On the left, navigate to → Setup (1)
Navigate to Forms and Pages (2) → Detail Pages (3) As you can see, there’s already a default detail page for cases, but these default detail pages cannot be modified.
Click on the gear next to DCM CASE DEFAULT and select
In the pop-up window enter the following information:
Name: AUTO LOAN
Case Type: Auto Loan
Description: AUTO LOAN Detail Page
Clone Permissions: Checked
Saveit.
Clickon the gear next to AUTO LOAN selectOpenor click the hyperlink. This will open a new tab for theCase Detail Page Builder.
From theToolbox → Tabs, drag and drop theMDM Search Viewerto the tab section.
In the popup window,Setthe required values for the MDM Viewer tab:
Basic Settings
Tab Title: Bank Accounts
Tab Icon: bank
Tab Tooltips: Bank Account
Standard Tab Settings
MDM Child Search: Bank Account
Saveit.
Saveyour changes in the case detail page andtestit using thePreviewbutton. Select any existing case.
Close the Case Detail Page Builder and click the Publish button to update the layout and the cache.
Go to Case Types (1), open the Auto Loan case, select theCustom Pagestab (2), and in the Detail Pagesection, select theAUTO LOAN from the dropdown list (3).
To check these changes, go toCase Management(1) → Search Cases (2), open any case you have already created or create a new one. Check that you have theBank Accountstab (3).
