How To Add MDM Fields in a Detail Page

The MDM serves as a central repository for storing structured data, such as customer information, product details, employee records, or any other data entities crucial to your business processes.

When users interact with the MDM detail page, they are presented with a comprehensive view of a specific record stored in the Master Data Model. This detail page is designed to provide in-depth information about the selected record, allowing users to review and manage its attributes efficiently.

In some scenarios, the information available in the MDM record might be extensive, containing numerous attributes and data points. To enhance user experience and ensure easy access to critical information, it's essential to present the most relevant and frequently accessed details prominently. This is where the Detail Page Toolbar comes into play.

For instance, imagine you have an MDM record representing a customer profile with attributes like "Customer Name," "Contact Information," "Address," and "Recent Transactions." When users open the MDM detail page for a particular customer, the Detail Page Toolbar can be customized to prominently display essential information like the customer's name and contact details. This way, users can quickly identify the customer they are working with and access their contact information without any additional clicks or actions.

Customizing the Detail Page Toolbar with specific information relevant to the selected record helps streamline navigation and enhances productivity within the application. It provides users with a clear overview of the record's vital details, making it easier for them to make informed decisions and take appropriate actions based on the information.
