Managing User Schema
In addition to the standard attributes that can be captured for a user - such as a cell phone number, Skype ID, date of birth, and so on - it is possible to define additional attributes by adding custom fields to the user profile through the user schema feature.
Add User Schema Attribute
- On the top right, navigate to → Manage Users
- On the left, navigate to User Management → User Schema
- Click the Add button to create a new user attribute
Enter the new Field Name.
In the Type column to the right, select the field type whether it is to be varchar (for text), number, and so on
The Field Name cannot contain any whitespaces or special characters
- Save to create a new field or Cancel to exit without saving
- After adding the new attribute you will see it on the Custom Properties tab.
Delete User Schema Attribute
- On the top right, navigate to → Manage Users
- On the left, navigate to User Management → User Schema
- Click the red Delete action icon next to the name of the attribute to be deleted
- Click Yes to confirm you wish to delete the custom field or No to exit without saving
