New Case Widget Feature

The New Case widget could display relevant details about each party involved, including their name, contact information, role, and other relevant attributes.

The widget might provide a visual representation or linkage to showcase the relationships between different parties within the case. This can help users understand how the case connects or affects parties.

How to use the New Case widget on party pages

  1. On the top right, navigate to 
     → <<your solution>>
  2. On the left, navigate to 
     → Setup (1).
  3. Navigate to Forms and Pages → Detail Pages (2).
  4. Open a detail page for a Party object.
  5. Add the New Case widget to the Detail Page for an External Party.
  6. Insert a Tab Title.
  7. Under the section Related Forms, select a Form from the dropdown list.
  8. Insert the Purpose for this new case.
  9. Select the first Case Type: If the flag is selected, the system automatically selects the first case type from the list.
  10. Open Case after creation: If the flag is selected, the system will open the case detail tab after creating the case.
  11. Click the New button to add the form to the list.
  12. Check the result with the Preview button.

If the user doesn't select any Form, the system will show the message in runtime
