Solution Preferences

Solution variables are a feature of Appbase that allows you to store and manage configuration settings for your Appbase solutions. These variables can be used to store any type of data, such as strings, numbers, booleans, and JSON objects. Solution variables are stored centrally in Appbase and can be accessed from your Appbase applications.

Solution variables are also useful for storing configuration settings that must be changed frequently. For example, you could use solution variables to keep the following information:

  • The current version of your Appbase solution
  • The name of the recent release of your Appbase solution
  • The date and time of the last deployment of your Appbase solution

Solution variables are stored in a secure Appbase location and only accessible to authorized users. You can control access to solution variables using Appbase's access control system.

We recommend using solution variables to store your configuration settings. Solution variables can help you to manage your Appbase solutions more effectively and make them more reliable.
